The information
Every year, the National Statistical Institute publish the causes of death in Spain with a press release. Everybody publish the press release, make the headlines with the same ideas and that's all. But we wanted to dive in the data and find more information, trends and details.
The design
I used a treemap to didvide the causes by groups and particular causes. Each cause includes data of mortality by men and women.
